“Story of Drew Binsky, A world traveler.”

Drew Goldberg also known as online alias Drew Binsky, is an American world traveler, youtuber, content creator and social media personality tells inspirational stories of people, hidden cultures and his crazy adventures who achieved 2 Guinness World Records one on visiting UNESCO World heritage sites in 24 hours and the other on packing a suitcase in fastest time ever. Apart from his travel he is a EDM music lover, people-person, scratch golfer and reviews golf courses around the globe, currently living in Arizona. Even though he had double major degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship he didn't want to go for a corporate job he always believed in making the life worth living and that life is living his passions. Traveling the world becomes his passion when he was studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and had the chance to teach English to children in South Korea. Experience in South Korea mounted his love for travel. During his visit at South Korea he traveled 20 countries in Asia. By Jan 2015, he decided to transform his love to his profession. 

STARTED TRAVELING CAREER:

He quit his job of teaching in South Korea and began focusing on traveling full time and in the meantime he started a blog called Hungry Partier (later renamed as Drew Binsky) where he would document his nightlife and travel experiences. In 2017 his girlfriend bought him a camera which elicited him to start channel on YouTube. Success of the channel led him to make other social media accounts which by fluke spiked in popularity day by day until he shared a video on his YouTube and Facebook channels during his visit to North Korea which went viral and layup  around 10 million views. After his success on video he started creating more content on his YouTube and Facebook channels. He has around 9million followers on his social media accounts and over 4 billion views on his videos. 

USING  SOCIAL MEDIA TO HELP HUMANITY:

Mostly people think of social media just an earning platform but Binsky suggests to keep the actual purpose of helping humanity alive and then you'll see God pave your way and for Binsky the actual purpose is  his desire of creating love between different countries holding different values, religions, cultures, traditions  and different languages. It's a way to connect people around the globe, sharing your story and the stories of others and clear the negative views which different people hold due to political issues about many especially South-Eastern countries like Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen and Lebanon which many people think of only a warzone but what he emphasized during his visit to these countries were mostly how hospitable and beautiful the people are there. 

Vlogging his travel wasn't an easy task as he struggled shooting some countries I mentioned above because people are more skeptical there but he believes every country brings a unique and distinctive opportunity to explore new challenges and with these challenges comes new possibilities as he says

“I love the challenges and I love trying to overcome these struggles. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to share the best stories that I can share.”_source Select. 

BINSKY TRAVEL BUDGET:

Initially Binsky started traveling on budget but now travel Vlogging has become quite profitable for him because now he has around 3.14M subscribers on YouTube, 4.3M on Facebook, 762K on Instagram, 573K on Snapchat, 425K on Ticktock and 71K on Twitter. He now has around 26 people in his team creating content for him. For new travelers he suggests to opt for  hostels to stay or taking CouchSurfing services  which equate travelers to locals offering free rooms while for Americans he recommends to use credit cards also suggests to take low cost like South-Eastern , Central Asian and Latin American countries for freshers. Moreover he offers travel hacking courses on his Drew Binsky blog to help become a better traveler and save money.
