Ali Abdaal is a young doctor in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He began his YouTube career as a Cambridge University medicine graduate in 2007, but now works as a junior doctor in the National Health Service of the United Kingdom (NHS). He started off creating films about his life as a medical student, but now he vlogs about his experiences as a doctor. He chose to launch a YouTube account in the summer of 2017. Fast forward to present, and he considers it to be one of his best moves.

He also makes study videos, tech reviews, and videos of himself and his pals singing songs on occasion. He also maintains a self-titled website where he publishes a weekly email newsletter and blog entries. He owns and operates 6med, a small business that assists medical school applicants.

He's taking a one-year hiatus from medicine after two years as a doctor to pursue other hobbies, but he's still vlogging every week.

He started from the ground up, like everyone else, with 0 subscribers and 0 views. He only got to 100,000 subscribers after a year and a half. And today, as of April 2021, his channel has 1.55 million members and he earns over £100,000 ($130k) every month, despite only putting in 5-10 hours per week - something he never imagined would be feasible.

He says that If you want to do the same, start a YouTube channel, use it as a creative outlet, grow an online audience, and turn it into a business.

Ali Abdaal along with Youtube teaches medicine professionally, does YouTube and tells people how to study and maintain time. While maintain and saving time, he also teaches to take care of our health.

Doing all these things makes people get motivated by default since a ‘Normal” person does multitasking so effectively and not reminiscent to robots.
