A TRAVELER WHO HAS DEVOTED HIS LIFE TO HELPING PEOPLE OVERCOME THEIR INNER FEARS SO THEY CAN TRAVEL AND DISCOVER THE WORLD 

Mike Corey is a Canadian Youtuber who runs the channel ‘Fearless & Far’. He is known as a traveler to the world but he is also a social media celebrity. Mike Corey is also a TV host and hosts the popular show on BBC by the name ‘The Travel Show’.

Mike was raised in Fredericton, Canada where he lived with his parents and siblings. Having studied marine biology in academics, and became a marine bilogy graduate, turned filmmaker with and immense passion for travelling. Mike was very passionate about adventures from a very young age and wanted to become adventurous and do something challenging.

From a very young age, Mike chose a career in the same field and gained fame in youtube because of his adventurous videos and motivating other people to go out there and seek out the world. After becoming a traveler with increasing popularity on Youtube, Mike had also ventured to other social media platforms to motivate people and show his angle of adventure. Mike has gained thousands of followers on Instagram and Facebook.

Mike was brought over to this stream by becoming fascinated with the lesser discovered areas of this planet. He wanted his video to be meticulous so that people would not miss out on any detail. During his travelling, Mike has become curious to search out creatures and locations that people do focus on. He wanted to mitigate the severity of fear.

When travelling Mike tries to blend in with the local communities and tries to show how harmonious the world is. When thinking of harmony Mike volunteered as a research assistant for scientists in researching ocean conservation hence also proving that career and passion can he handled simultaneously. Doing so led him to carry a personal camera on these trips and capture and accumulate all the material which led him to win several international travel video competitions and spread awareness for a good cause.

Mike seems to encompass many different stories into his video and engages his audience in a mtter never seen before. Mike tries to overcome all the encumbrances of an adventure which is what makes traveling so inquisitive.

Mike also runs a podcast channel by the name “Against The Odds Podcast” in which Mike and a fellow traveler Cassie De Pecol share their stories of survival and travel.
