Introduction:
Mohit Manocha popularly known as “Traveling Desi” is an Indian travel vlogger. He shares his traveling experience through videos on YouTube. The channel shares a story about an Indian Entrepreneur who turned into a Youtuber traveling through more than 25 countries sharing his travel experiences eventually settling down with his soulmate he found in Canada. Life takes dramatic turns and his ongoing story is about all those turns as they happen. 


                                     

Biography:
Mohit Manocha was born on 16 August 1986 (age 35 as of 20221) in the Faridabad district of Haryana, India. His zodiac sing is Leo. Mohit did his schooling at a local school in Faridabad and belongs to a Hindu family of Faridabad, India.

Parents and Sibling:
Mohit’s father was a lawyer by profession and his mother is a retired school teacher. Mohit lost his father in 2016 due to cancer. Mohit Manocha has an elder brother, Sunny Manocha. Sunny is an engineer and lives in Ottawa, Canada. Mohit has a sister in law, Cherry Manocha , wife of Sunny Manocha. Mohit also became inspiration for his brother and sister in law and they also started a YouTube channel, “Chatty and Scatty” with the help of his younger brother.

Relationship, Wife and Children:
Mohit Manocha was married to an Indian girl but his marriage didn’t work out and they get separated in 2016. He never shared the name of his first wife. In 2021, the couple got officially divorced. In 2021, Mohit Manocha got engaged to a French-Canadian girl, Sandra who us an entrepreneur by profession.

Youtube Career:
Mohit Manocha started his YouTube Career in 2018 with his first video named, “Cheap International Travel – An Indian Backpacker Explains – Cheap Flights, Hotels, Visas and more.” He started making videos related to budget friendly traveling around the world and has traveled to many countries including Canada, United States, England and more than 20 countries in the Europe. Mohit Manocha has currently 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube with more than 700 videos posted on his YouTube Channel. He also started daily vlogs on his channel. 

Other YouTube Channel:
 In May 2021, Mohit Manocha along with his fiance, Sandra Beauchamp, started a new YouTube Channel by the name. “The Manochas”. The medium of communication in this channel is English and on this channel, they share about the everyday life of a multi-cultural couple where one half is a French Canadian and the other is a Punjabi Indian.

Early Career:

Before starting his YouTube Career, Mohit worked in a software company which was owned by his Uncle, As he did great work for the company, his uncle got very impressed and made him his business partner. But after some time, the company went in to loss and they eventually had to shut it down.

And then from there onwards, with all his savings, he decided to change his career and started making videos on YouTube on his traveling experiences around the world.

Covid in Canada:

Mohit moved to Canada in 2019 to live with his family already settled there and he likes to spend time with his family members and his family members are often seen in his regular videos. Canada is the second largest country on the basis of land size but is also popular because of its natural scenic forests and some most beautiful lakes in the world like Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and because of Covid-19, all the borders were closed around the world and he was stuck in Canada. As the people say, with every problem is an opportunity, he decided to buy a motorhome and travel through the different states of Canada including Banff, Ottawa, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and Ontario.
