MRWHOSEHEBOSS, UK's largest YouTuber

Arun Maini, one of UK’s largest youtuber with a fan following of more than 10 million people who have subscribed to his channel. Arun goes by the name ‘MRWHOSEHEBOSS’ on youtube.

Arun reviews stuff and by stuff it means product ranging from technology, software’s, weird products, how to be safe from tech attacks and adapt in this tech dominated world. Arun mainly reviews smartphones as they were the hot topic of the town in around 2015 and then uploads them on YouTube by the name/ avatar of ‘MRWHOSEHEBOSS’.

Arun began posting on YouTube on 22^nd April 2011 when his brother gifted him his first android phone at the age of 14. Arun a tech geek since a very young age had learned to customize his phone and improve its performance out of the box by using a few tricks here and there. Like many Indians Arund decided to help people by posting videos of YouTube so that they could benefit. This is the link to his very first video; https://youtu.be/M_QU_Y93eLc.

Due to lack of proper funding or any contacts to sample out and test new gadgets, Arun began reviewing his already owned gadgets and make videos on them and at times he would borrow some gadgets from people to review them.

Arun is an economics graduate from University of Warwick and later decided to leave his job as it did not provide him with the freedom and was too confined. To further grow and max out, Arun had double thoughts of only pursuing YouTube but when he noticed other YouTubers getting paid a lot for just reviewing products and that too shabbily, he finally left his 9-5 job and pursued YouTube as a career.

In 2015, Arun had garnered over 20 million views on a video in which he explained how people can turn their smartphones into hologram generators. At the time that this video got 20 million views all his previous videos on the channel has 3000-4000 views per video.

On 15 February, 2018, Mrwhosetheboss’s channe crossed 1 million subscribers and later on he posted in depth tech reviews on the latest products in the smartphone industry. Arun collaborated with other famous YouTubers such as Gaurav Chaudhry also known as Technical Guruji, MKBHD, Lewis Geroge who goes by the channel name unbox therapy and many more.

Currenty at the time of writing, the channel has 10.5 million subscribers.
